Inkwells
Ink bottles are closely associated with inkwells and also collectible. Hwever, it is harder to provide a good search tool for ink bottles because the term is used for other items such as tatoo ink which are of no interest to vintage ink bottle collectors. (Although I suppose in fifty years that could change.)
On these search pages we make every effort to eliminate auctions which are not of interest to the vintage or antique ink bottle collector. On the other hand, we also try not to eliminate relevant items which are poorly described.
If you study the auctions which get lots of bids you will quickly see that older items, in good conditon, with lots of identification do the best. If the seller is able to provide dates, manufacturing, or owner information that will add significantly to the value.
